Young Swallow, as one of the three swallows occurring in Poland, commonly nests in rural areas and in farms. Young bird  have a forehead and rusty throat, and the outermost rectrices are shorter than adults and blunt. They show a slight blue sheen on the top of their plumage. Young birds have distinct bouts on the beak angles. These migratory birds will soon fly away to Africa, they will have a distance of about 10,000. km. For birds that weigh only 20 g, this is a real challenge. Observation of young birds is a source of joy to everyone who visits the places of their occurrence in Roztocze.
