The Scarlet Rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus) is a migratory bird that comes to our breeding ground all the way from South Asia, usually only in May. All indications are that the bison are Asiatic birds that gradually began to shift their ranges to the west. Today they can even be found in Great Britain. The Scarlet Rosefinch finland lives in thickets in the valleys of large and small rivers, around lakes and breeding ponds. The mating male has a bright red breast and head. He does not get this robe until he is 3-4 years old. The female and cubs are olive brown, similar to a sparrow. These birds have a clearly strong beak with convex edges. The staple food is seeds, tree and bush buds as well as aphids. The male sings a short flute song characteristic of the genre.
