The Scarlet Rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus) is a migratory bird that comes to our breeding ground all the way from South Asia, usually only in May. All indications are that the bison are Asiatic birds that gradually began to shift their ranges to the west. Today they can even be found in Great Britain.
