Bird migrations in Roztocze

Bird migrations in Roztocze is a field trip by car combined with the observation of the departures of migratory birds and the flights of birds that nest in Northern Eurasia and migrate to wintering grounds in Africa, and Southeastern Poland, including Roztocze, is on their migration route. During the trip, there is a chance to observe many birds of prey (eagles, harriers, buzzards) and flocks of lapwings, starlings and other migratory birds. On this trip we guarantee the observation of about 40 species of birds. Observing migratory birds during their migration is always a surprise. Each participant of the expedition will observe birds using rented binoculars.

Car travel distance is approximately 120 km.

The start time of the expedition depends on the sunrise.

The duration of the expedition is about 5-6 hours.

Start and end of the field trip: Tourist Information in Zwierzyniec (parking), ul. Słowackiego 2, 22-470 Zwierzyniec. This point is located at the roundabout on the Zamość – Biłgoraj route, behind the Commercial Pavilion "Ordynat".
