Bird spring in Roztocze

Avian Spring in Roztocze is a field expedition combined with observing the arrivals of birds in the fields, meadows, and near water bodies across the vast Roztocze region. Early spring is the best time for observing and photographing birds, which have returned to their breeding grounds after a long journey and will soon be nesting. The springtime song of birds in their bright breeding plumage is the perfect time to get to know them better, ideally in the company of experienced birdwatchers. At this time of year, we guarantee observations of approximately 35 bird species. Each participant will observe birds using borrowed binoculars.

Car travel distance is approximately 110 km.

The start time of the expedition depends on the sunrise.

The duration of the expedition is approximately 4-5 hours.

Start and end of the field expedition: Tourist Information Center in Zwierzyniec (parking), ul. Słowackiego 2, 22-470 Zwierzyniec. This point is located near the roundabout on the route from Zamość to Biłgoraj, behind the "Ordynat" Commercial Pavilion.
