Bird winter surprises

Winter Surprises is a field expedition combined with observing resident and migratory birds that visit us during winter in the vicinity of Zwierzyniec and in Roztocze, sometimes even at feeders. There is a chance to observe, among others: Redpoll, Waxwing,  Goosander,  Little Grebe, White -tailed Eagle. At this time of year, we guarantee observations of approximately 25 bird species. Each participant will observe birds using binoculars.

Car travel distance is approximately 100 km.

The start time of the expedition depends on the sunrise.

The duration of the expedition is approximately 4-5 hours.

Start and end of the field expedition: Tourist Information Center in Zwierzyniec (parking), ul. Słowackiego 2, 22-470 Zwierzyniec. This point is located near the roundabout on the route from Zamość to Biłgoraj, behind the "Ordynat" Commercial Pavilion.
