Bird winter morning in the forest

Winter Morning in the Forest is a cycling expedition combined with observing resident birds inhabiting forested areas, mainly woodpeckers and tits. The expedition route includes the park in Zwierzyniec and the areas of the Roztocze National Park. At the same time, you can see the breeding of Polish Konik horses, white-backed cattle, Polish Red cattle, and Hucul sheep. At this time of year, we guarantee observation of approximately 25 bird species. Each participant will observe birds using binoculars.

The length of the route is approximately 16 km. Stops are planned during the expedition.

The start time of the expedition depends on the sunrise.

The duration of the expedition is approximately 3-4 hours.

Start and end of the cycling expedition: Tourist Information Center in Zwierzyniec (parking), ul. Słowackiego 2, 22-470 Zwierzyniec. This point is located near the roundabout on the route from Zamość to Biłgoraj, behind the "Ordynat" Commercial Pavilion.
